One of my favorite facts about NASA is that one of their programs is to send a kids star onto the International Space Station to educate children.
This made one of my all-time favorite fact, being that one of the actors of Big Bird being on the Challenger space shuttle.
Thankfully, Big Bird wasn't able to go on because she got sick with something a few weeks before the launch, and they didn't want space to amplify the sickness, as it does.
