Ace Combat 7 is a game that introduced me to the wacky and fun world of Strangereal, the map that you clicked on was a map of said planet. Strangereal is much like Earth, but with many wars. What I know from it's story is this; Nations claim a large landmass (much like America, but nothing like America- On the map, this island is to the east), and that inadvertenly causes many wars. For example, the Belkan War, which caused the country of Belka to nuke itself and its survivors to go on and spark many more wars (because of Belkan technology). For example, two wars were fought because one of the countries in the area created stupidly advanced technology (Thanks, Belka!) such as railguns, and unmaned AI drones that are almost ace pilots. The first war was fought over Stonehenge, a massive site that contained 8 massive railguns. It's purpose was to shoot down incoming extinction-level asteroids on collison course with Strangereal, such as the Ulyesses 1994XF04 asteroid. The second was from advanced-learning AI drones.
